FAQs
Q:Why choose a Vantrue bundle over buying accessories separately?
A:Purchasing a bundle saves you 20% to 35% compared to buying each item individually, giving you the best value for a complete, hassle-free setup.
Q: Can I use my own SIM card with the 4G LTE module?
A:For the best performance and optimal experience, please use the Vantrue SIM card provided in this bundle.
This N5S Bundle includes a dedicated Vantrue SIM card pre-loaded with 300MB of initial data to help you activate and enjoy Vantrue Cloud features (such as Live View, Push Notifications, and Cloud Backup) right out of the box.
To activate your SIM card or view available data top-up plans, please visit our LTE Data Plan Page.https://www.vantrue.com/products/4g-lte-module-with-sim-card
Q: What is the main purpose of the Vantrue ACC Hardwire Kit?
A:24/7 Parking Surveillance: Connects directly to your vehicle's battery for continuous power, protecting your parked car around the clock.
Smart Low-Voltage Protection: Features an automatic power cut-off when battery voltage drops to 11.6V (for 12V cars) or 23.2V (for 24V trucks) to prevent battery drain.
Universal 12V–24V Compatibility: Works seamlessly with all vehicle types, including cars, SUVs, trucks, buses, and commercial rigs.
Q: Why is a official Vantrue card required instead of a standard third-party card?
A: The N5S dash cam generates a massive amount of data per second during multi-channel recording, which places extremely high performance demands on the memory card. We strongly recommend using a official Vantrue microSD card. Our cards have undergone rigorous multi-round aging tests, high-low temperature cycle tests, and strict compatibility validations to ensure superior stability and peak performance under continuous high-intensity writing.
Q: What is the CPL filter used for, and why should I get it?
A:A CPL (Circular Polarizer) filter acts like polarized sunglasses for your dash cam. Key benefits include:
Eliminates Windshield Reflection: Cuts daylight glare and dashboard reflections from your windshield for crystal-clear video footage.
Enhances Clarity & Color: Boosts image contrast and color saturation, making license plates and road signs much easier to read under bright sunlight.
Lens Protection: Serves as a physical barrier to protect your dash cam's primary glass lens against direct scratches, dust, and fingerprints.
Q:If only one component in the bundle (e.g., the 512GB card or hardwire kit) has an issue, do I need to return the entire package?
A: No. You do not need to return or uninstall the whole bundle. If any individual accessory experiences a quality issue, contact us and we will replace that specific item for free under warranty.
