Nexus 4 Pro

The product exceeded my expectations. Discrete, Easy to install and easy to use. I am very pleased with the performance. I would only suggest the Vantrue App for Android to be compatible with Android auto. It would be nice to be able to control the camera from the Vehicle screen. Highly recommended.

I purchased the Nexus 4 Pro a month ago and had it installed. I am so pleased with my choice to install cameras and my choice for Vantrue. In this environment where large format vehicles dominate the roads, too often I suffered aggressive behavior by other drivers. However, I am very sure that installing the cameras has changed that. Drivers seldom tailgate me and they no longer cut me off. I think when they get close enough and they see the camera in the rear window, they know they’re being recorded and they moderate their behavior. If they aggressively, cut in front of me, I have their license tag documented. I also like that the cabin is recorded, and I like that there is a small remote control that I can quickly tap to snap a picture. I like being able to download images without having to remove the storage card thingy🤣. So this has been a surprising benefit to me. I mainly intended to use it to document any accident while driving or damage to the car while parked and unoccupied. I highly recommend this Vantrue and Nest 4 Pro.

I own a n4 pro for almost 2 years. I love the cam. It is great. But after 23 months the display died. I wrote the support, and after 2 mails and a video, they send me a new cam. This is great. Thank you!

Shortly after I installed my N4Pro what are you doing? The dash cam started as it had on another one of my dash cams going on off and off and off. I remember from the previous associate I was told to disconnect the rear camera and see if the dash cam continued to work correctly. And it did so I emailed and talked to one of your associates about the rear camera that stopped working. I disconnected the camera and the dash cam continued to work correctly.
I explained what happened previously and what happened on this dash Cam. As the other associate should ask, do I have the supplied connections connecting to the dash cam I said no they were too short or I did not want to use a cigarette lighter because my car did not have a cigarette lighter. It only had a USB-C and a USB connector that I can plug into. The USB-C as in the past would not work with the dash cam the USB worked perfect but you don’t supply a long enough USB cable to use so I had an aftermarket Anker. I know this is a good brand because I’ve used it for many many years. I started out with a 10 foot long, which worked perfect for my installation.
One of the things that I disliked. When I would deal with one of your associates, that person would always copy my text that I sent in and replied after each sentence. To me that’s not too professional it’s actually irritating and makes it hard to read because I have to recall what I wrote. The previous encounter with the other associate never did that here she answered and asked, direct questions not copy pasting my text and then answering it afterwards. I also tried to explain that I know your dash cams do not work off of Toyota USB-C connectors. I had to do it over and over again to prove to this associate that it did not work. I don’t know what the problem is, I can’t even do it in the house plugging into 110 and using a USBC which will charge my iPad and my cell phone, but it will not work your dash cam I have to plug into a USB and use your dash cam for viewing.
